Kozhan Vladimir Dmitrievich was born on 22nd January 1946 in Guta of Buzhskoy region in the Lvov area.
The citizen of Ukraine.
In 1961 received incomplete secondary education at the high school in Toporovsk.
In 1964 graduated the technical school ¹ 12 in Lvov.
1972-1975 – study at the Vishnyansky State Farm-technical school on the job.
1976-1981 – study at the Agricultural Institute in Lvov on a specialty of scientific agriculturist.
In 1983 was matriculated at the Lvov Trade and economic institute which graduated in 1988, on a specialty: “commodity researcher of the top skills”.

For the charitable help to peace-making forces in Bosnia and Kosovo he is awarded with a medal of NATO. The owner of "Gold fate" in a nomination “the European degree of service in trade”. He is awarded with "the Gold Cossack cross".
On behalf of V.D. Kozhana's from a name of "our Ukraine " the bronze board-epitaph on the tomb of Ò.G. Shevchenko in Kanev on mountain Chernechey is established.
