Andreytsev Vladimir Ivanovich was born on 1st June 1947 in Velikaya Slobodka of the Kamyanets-Podolsk region in the Khmelnitsky area.

Has higher education. Is an expert in the field of the labour, land and environmental law. Doctor of jurisprudence, a professor, Honoured lawyer of Ukraine.

Graduated the Kiev University (1979) where works as an assistant (1979-1984), an associate professor, an assistant research fellow, since 1993 is a professor, since 1996 is a head of department of the labour, land and environmental law, since 1997 is a dean of a faculty of law.

Directions of his scientific activity: environmental law, ecological expertology, right of ecological safety, ecological human rights, land right, problems of jurisprudential educations in Ukraine.

Chairman of the expert council of State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles on legal and political sciences, a vice-president of professional council by right Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine, a deputy of a vice-president of the commission by the law of Scientific-methodical council of Ministry of Educational and Science of Ukraine, a member of Coordination council on questions of judicial-legal reform at President of Ukraine, a member of the Advisory council on questions of development of the state and a legal politics of the Verkhovnaya Rada of Ukraine, a vice-president of the specialized Council on defense of doctoral dissertation, a member of Scientific and the Advisory council of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, a member of Scientific and technical council of Ministry of Education of Ukraine, a member of an editorial board of magazines: "Law of Ukraine","Visnyk of prokuratura","Visnyk of Akademiya Nauk of Vysha shkola of Ukraine", an editor-in-chief "the Kiev National University named in honour of Taras Scevchenko.
